qualifications.Location: San Luis ObispoDuties: A Senior
Transportation Engineer is responsible for the design development
of transportation projects on local roadways and state highways.
This includes the preparation of design concepts and reports
through the delivery of plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E)
construction documents and support in construction. In addition to
this technical prowess, this position will regularly include
coordination of team members, interaction with clients, agency
staff, other consultants and a variety of disciplines in the
production of reports, permits and construction documents. As a
Senior position the candidate is expected to also be skilled in the
supervision and training of less experienced staff as well as able
to manage projects and budgets.Specific Experience: To well execute
these duties a candidate must show a variety of past experiences in
the preparation of preliminary design reports, design plans,
specifications, quantities, and estimates using Caltrans and local
agency standards. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the
use of a variety of different transportation design standards
including but not limited to the Caltrans Highway Design Manual
(HDM), Project Development Procedures Manual (PDPM), CT Standard
Plans, CA Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD), the
AASHTO Greenbook, and other similar guidance standards.
Coordination of environmental and other disciplines for project
public outreach as well as exposure to construction activities is a
plus.Key Expectations: Our team is keen on professionalism merged

clients.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil
Engineering or related field, California registration as a licensed
Professional Engineer, minimum of nine years of qualifying
transportation design engineering with past experience using CAD,
Caltrans standards, with progressively developing project
