  • MS Tele Interim Manager position at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, California.
  • Unit: All Medsug Tele Units with 27 beds.
  • Charge Nurse: Nurse Shift Managers do not take patient assignments.
    • Job Requirements
    • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • NIHSS certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • Strong charge RN experience preferred.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 7a, 7p.
      • Weekend Requirement: One weekend shift every two weeks.
      • Holidays: 2 majors and a minor.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Ratios: 1 to 5 if med surg, 1 to 4 if chemo/tele patient.
        • Floating to other med surg units may be required.
          • Additional Details
          • Cerner EMR required.
          • Common diagnosis includes general medical surgical, GYN, appy, chole, some spine cases, and some joints.
          • Must have strong central line experience and compassionate care.
