• Employment Type: TravelSalary: $2,761.20/weekMedical Specialty: Labor and Delivery.Standard Shift: Nights, 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 36-48 hours per week.Weekly Schedule: 3 X 12.Description:Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, including monitoring maternal and fetal health.Conduct assessments of laboring patients, including vital signs, contraction patterns, fetal heart rates, and overall well-being.Administer medications, manage pain relief options, and assist with various medical procedures as needed.Offer emotional support and education to patients and families regarding childbirth and newborn care.Work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe delivery and address any complications.Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, care provided, and any changes in patient condition.Respond promptly to emergencies, including labor complications or unexpected changes in patient condition.Educate patients on childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care, including discharge instructions.Provide care for the mother and newborn post-delivery, including assessments and support for breastfeeding and recovery.Follow hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines, and maintain current knowledge of best practices in maternal and neonatal care.Experience:01-year relevant experience.Required Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Preferred Education:Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved ProgramRequired Certifications & Licensure:Current RN License issued by the California State Board of Nursing.Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.ACLS (American Heart Association).ProKatchers LLC is revolutionizing healthcare staffing!
