  • 4 years' Experience Required - No 1st time travelers.
  • Work Settings: Med/Surg, MS/Tele.
  • Management of dysrhythmias.
  • Telemetry - Remote monitoring.
  • Use of Rapid Response Teams.
  • Colostomy care.
  • Feeding tube care/mgmt.
  • Pre/post hemodialysis mgmt.
  • Renal failure.
  • Accessing ports.
  • Blood product administration.
  • Central line blood draw.
  • Peripheral line care/mgmt.
  • Phlebotomy.
  • PICC line mgmt.
  • Starting IVs.
  • Heparin/Insulin/PCA.
  • CVA.
  • Pre/post neurosurgery.
  • Spinal cord injuries/TBI.
  • Surgical drains.
  • Chest tubes/Emerson/Pleur-evac.
  • CPAP/BiPAP.
  • HFNC/Nasal Cannula.
  • Non-invasive airway mgmt./Oral suctioning.

    • Required: BCLS, NIH, Foley/External Cath Management, Nephrostomy & Seizure Management.
      • Schedule Information
      • Avg. Daily Census: 26.
      • Rooms/Beds: 30/32.
      • Pt. Population: Adults-Geriatrics.
      • Staffing Ratios: 1:5.
      • Float Req: Yes - Med/Surg if overstaffed.
      • Weekend Coverage: Yes - 3 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule.
      • Unit Systems: Omnicell, EPIC, SBAR.
      • Scheduling Type: Self.
