• Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry for a Day Shift (3x12 hours) position in Bakersfield, California. This role is in a fast-paced Telemetry Unit, providing specialized care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
  
  Roles and Responsibilities:
  
  Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of patients with cardiac conditions.
  Administer medications, IV therapies, and implement physician orders.
  Interpret telemetry readings and respond to abnormal cardiac rhythms.
  Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  Document patient progress in Cerner EMR while ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  Maintain patient safety and provide education on cardiac care and recovery.
  
  Requirements:
  
  Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry experience.
  Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - Required
  Technical Skills: Cerner EMR - Required
  Patient Ratio: 1:4
