Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Mammography Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: License to Submit required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience with Cerner charting system Job Description: - Perform mammography procedures in an acute care setting. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. - Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to produce high-quality images. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of diagnostic information. - Maintain and calibrate equipment as necessary, reporting any technical issues. - Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards. - Participate in a 12-hour orientation session. - Understand the facility's cancellation policy: The facility may cancel up to 3 times per contract, which could include either full shifts or partial shifts. - No requirement for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
