Volt is hiring a Sanitation Technician in Tulare, Ca

Position Summary:

The Sanitation Technician performs routine cleaning of the plant production equipment and facility to meet food safety requirements as required by federal, state, and local regulations and auditing standards to meet customer quality and safety standards.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

--- Dismantles, cleans and reassembles machine equipment.

--- Demonstrate teamwork and be able to work within groups.

--- Maintains a clean and organized work area.

--- Maintain updated knowledge of the plant's GMPs and Sanitation requirements.

--- Report food safety and quality issues to immediate supervisor.

--- Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times as required.

--- Follow all company safety protocols.

--- Other duties as assigned by management.

Skill and Ability Requirements:



--- Knowledge and understanding of chemicals used in the cleaning process; understand the manufacturing process and equipment parts/systems to ensure proper sanitization of equipment and efficient line start-ups.

--- Knowledge and understanding of GMP and HACCP requirements.

--- Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively.

--- Ability to adapt to changes quickly.

--- Ability to take accountability and be dependable.

--- Ability to follow directions.

--- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.

--- Ability to stay focused on task, strong attention to detail.

--- Ability to use both hands.

--- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner.

--- Ability to read and write legibly.

--- Ability to operate a forklift (or ability to learn to operate a forklift).



Temp to Hire Opportunity!

$18.03/hour.

3rd Shift 7:00pm-4330pm- Hours may vary

Must be available to work OT and Weekends as needed.
